Read Live Seminar Workbook Several years ago, Patty Harrell and I attended a Read Live Seminar to ensure that we were utilizing all the program has to offer. I was given a certificate, but they had misspelled my name and I never received a correct one. Registration for The Tech-Integrated Classroom class In continued pursuit of keeping abreast of technology and the uses of technology in the classroom with students, I am currently taking The Tech-Integrated Classroom class. I also just signed up and will begin March 17 the course called, "Understanding Real Colors".
7 b. Works collaboratively to improve professional practice and student learning.
Email from Sara Heitz Sara and I co-teach an 8th grade science class together. Because I do not possess the science knowledge necessary to deliver instruction, we collaborate on methods to meet the learning needs of all learners in the class. Some examples in which we collaborate include accommodating and modifying assessments, creating vocabulary assignments to assist students in comprehending science readings, and classroom management.
7 c. Applies professional development activities into classroom practice.
Read Live Seminar Workbook Read Live was originally only used with students that have an IEP; I am so pleased that MTSS Tier 2 and 3 are implementing Read Live. This is an excellent computer-based program that will help a plethora of students reach reading proficiency.
7 d. Implements professional development plan to improve practices.
IPDP for Read Live The district should feel that it was a situation of money well spent by sending Patty and me to the Read Live Seminar. Not only did we learn how to get the most benefit from the program, but it is being implemented with integrity with special education students and struggling readers in the general education population as well.
